How to Activate Virtual Keyboard in Mac OS X

Well, those are very hard times when your keyboard keys does not work, even this problem becomes huge when it happens in Laptop. Even it happened to my old Fujitsu s760 laptop, but i was using Windows 8, so it wasn’t too hard to activate the virtual keyboard. But it comes to Mac OS X, it seems to be little difficult to find and activate this features. So for doing that, here is a very easy to use guide on how to activate virtual keyboard in Mac OS X, with few clicks you will be able to use this feature.

1. Open System Preferences in your Mac OS X and move to “Keyboard look” under Keyboard tab. After that, get to “Show Keyboard & Character Viewers” under menu bar and check it.

2. After it, click on the newly appeared keyboard option and then choose “Show Keyboard Viewer“.

3. Now, you virtual keyboard will appear on your Mac OS X, you can place it anywhere in your desired position and re-size it to desired size.

That’s all, use this virtual keyboard to enter input text, for both standard typing and for entering passwords. You can close it via clicking on close button and fire it up again by  keyboard menu and choose “Show Keyboard Viewer” (see step 2).
